Podcast #95-My First Pow-Wow

I taught my first Pow-Wow class this weekend and I thought it would make a great 2-year anniversary gift to you, the listeners of this show. The class I helped teach was about extra things the Pack can do monthly (campouts, derbies, etc.) to make the Scouting year more interesting. Please let me know what you think of the presentation.
Also, Clint is looking for some good crossover ceremony resources, e-mail or call me and let’s help him out!

Podcast #94-Our Pack’s Winter Campout

The Pinewood Derby went off with very few hitches and a lot of fun. The next show should be about our Council Pow Wow, which I am teaching one of the classes.

deseretnews.com | Son’s quick thinking saves mom
A few seconds later, and Jordan Tyler would have been too late.
Kristina Tyler embraces son Jordan, who saved her life when she started choking on food in their Taylorsville home last week. (Tom Smart, Deseret Morning News)
He was in his parents’ room last week playing on a computer with his sister when his mom started choking. His sister, Shaelie, saw her mom struggling to breathe and got Jordan’s attention.
Jordan wasted little time.
“I just thought about it for a second,” he said. Then the 13-year-old sprang into action and used the Heimlich maneuver on his mother, Kristina Tyler, to prevent her from choking to death.

Podcast #93-Our Pack’s Winter Campout
Our Winter Campout was almost ruined by “Winter” weather, but we prevailed and had a decent time. The roasted pig was delicious! We’re also gearing up for our Pinewood Derby here, which should be lots of fun.

Podcast #92-Patches, Grown-Ups and Sr. Webelos
A better way to stick on those patches and someone needs help with a District volunteer dinner start the new year for AHAW. I throw out some questions to ask before joining a Troop and get my allergies all over my own show. Still need some more feedback on whether I should add music to the show.
