Jervis Hui never really thought about what it was like to be homeless. That is, until he started building shelves for and painting the laundry room at God’s Net Warehouse.
The shelves he built as a community service project are to be used to hold detergent and clothes donated for use by the homeless who wash their clothes at the facility.

Scout transforms barn wall into educational mural
HAMILTON — With the help of Eagle Scout Rob Calehuff from Boy Scout Troop 38, the back of an old barn from the Mercer County Soil Conservation site on Hughes Drive underwent a major facelift.
The plain gray wall was transformed into a colorful and educational mural. The mural depicts a scenic view of cultivated farmland, with a windrow of evergreen trees to neatly camouflage a row of unattractive ledges in the barn, and four big brown bats swooping out from a roosting box to begin their evening search for insects.
