Cub Scouts pack helps homeowners: South Florida Sun-Sentinel
he 53 members of Margates Cub Scout Pack 836 pitched in to help some of their neighbors in a big way.
Cubmaster Rich Recchie, who owns Pile Services, a painting company, had been carrying a used washer and dryer around in the back of his pickup truck for a few days. Some clients had given the appliances to him after he painted the interior of their home.

“They were elderly and said that they didnt use them any more,” Recchie said.
