An Hour A Week? Scout Podcast #58
Podcast #58-BSA rules and I have questions.
Welcome to everyone who heard our promo on Sirius. I decided to use Scouting Magazine as a reference for most of tonight’s show, so grab a copy and play along.

To respond to CCs question, I don’t know if this is “official procedure” or not, but we wear the uniform hats indoors during all of our meetings. Many of Den Meetings are held at the local elementary schools and our Pack meeting is as well. Also, our Round Tables, except during the summer, are held at a school. Uniform hats are worn there. We take them off to pray, and to eat a meal. I would be interested to hear what other packs are doing.

The following is from page 12-11 of the Cub Scout Leader Book:
Caps:Uniform caps may be worn indoors while the individual, den, or pack is participating in formal ceremonies or service projects such as flag ceremonies, uniform inspections, orderly duty, ushering, etc. (except in religious institutions where custom forbids). In any informal indoor activity where no official ceremony is involved, the cap should be removed.
